Expansion of foreign activities in the Adriatic-Ionian economic region
Ettlingen, 06/30/2023 – The PROMATIS corporate group continues on its growth course and strengthens its EU presence as of June 1, 2023 with the foundation of PROMATIS software d.o.o. in Zagreb. With the Nearshore Development Center, the process innovator and technology expert intends to tap additional specialist potential that will function for the entire PROMATIS Group. As a result, the Oracle partner and specialist for intelligent digitalized business processes, Oracle applications and technologies will be able to access resources in ongoing or planned IT projects even faster, thus underlining its commitment to the Croatian market.
IT specialists, especially software developers, are in higher demand than ever. As a result, software development is the fastest growing and most pronounced IT outsourcing sector. Croatia, a small country with an above-average number of IT specialists, ranks first (on a per capita basis) in the international Computer Science Olympiad*. Furthermore, computer science and digitization faculties at renowned Croatian universities tap into large potentials of IT graduates locally.
For almost 30 years, the PROMATIS group of companies has maintained a close partnership with the national and international Oracle organization and is thus one of the pioneers in the market for Oracle products. Country Manager Anton Banic looks back on many years of professional experience in the software industry and brings profound knowledge of the enterprise applications market. His goal is to ensure "outstanding quality" of the developed digitalization solutions and consequently a rapid development of the Adriatic-Ionian market.
Srdjan Konjevic has been "on board" at PROMATIS since May 2016. After studying computer science at the University of Turin, he gained extensive experience in pan-European Oracle E-Business Suite projects. In his role as Managing Director (CTO) of the Croatian subsidiary of PROMATIS, he is responsible for building up the technical capabilities and integrating the new colleagues in Zagreb.
Dr. Frank Schoenthaler has never lost his passion for intelligent business processes and innovative information systems after more than three decades of experience as a corporate leader and executive consultant. As a serial entrepreneur, he has founded software and consulting companies in Europe and the USA since 1990 and leads them as CEO. In the PROMATIS Group he is responsible for corporate and product strategy and strategic customer relations.
